Elaine Y. Anderson, Senior Estate Planning Paralegal
Elaine earned her B.A. Degree from Jilin University in China and completed classes in continuing education at Middlebury College in Vermont. She has almost 20 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal and has assisted the firm in the preparation of thousands of Living Trusts.
Elaine resides in Boston with her family and continues to work with the firm remotely. She enjoys cooking and interior design in her spare time.
Arlyn Villanueva, Estate Planning Paralegal
Arlyn has been with Kavesh, Minor & Otis since 1994 and has spent the majority of her time with the firm as an Estate Planning Paralegal, primarily responsible for the drafting and preparation of thousands of estate plans. Since 2007, Arlyn took on additional responsibilities with respect to office management.
Arlyn currently resides with her husband and son in the South Bay. In her spare time, Arlyn enjoys watching her son play club hockey.
Administrative Staff
Kristina Schneider, Executive Assistant to Philip J. Kavesh
Kristina has been with Kavesh, Minor & Otis since July 2004, following her graduation from Pepperdine University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. In addition to general administrative duties, she also assists Mr. Kavesh with training and educating various estate and financial planning professionals across the country. Kristina resides in the South Bay and enjoys watching and playing sports in her spare time.
ShantaDee Gadson, Administrative Assistant
ShantaDee joined the firm in April 2008. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors degree from California State University, Northridge. ShantaDee supports all of the attorneys in the Estate Administration Department and also assists in the firm in setting up client appointments.
In her spare time, ShantaDee is actively involved with her church.
Tracy Collins, Seminar Coordinator
Tracy has been with the firm since June 2008. She primarily assists the firm in setting up and facilitating its educational seminars, as well as managing all of our client appointments.
Tracy grew up and currently resides in the South Bay. She enjoys cooking and is an avid Anaheim Ducks and Angels fan.
Joanna Gomez, File Clerk
Joanna has been with the firm since March 2006. Joanna’s primary responsibility is managing the firm's copy room and client files. She has also assisted the firm in word processing and receptionist coverage. Joanna currently resides with her husband, Alex, in the South Bay and is studying cosmetology in her spare time.
Melissa Carrion, Receptionist
Melissa joined the firm in June 2010 and is responsible for answering the telephones and greeting clients when they come in. Melissa also assists the Word Processing Department with printing. Melissa grew up in Oceanside, California and just moved back to California after living in New York for 4 years. Melissa now resides in the South Bay with her husband and enjoys outdoor activities in her spare time.
