Paralegals & Administrative Staff

Elaine Y. Anderson, Senior Estate Planning Paralegal
Elaine earned her Bachelors Degree from Jilin University in China and completed classes in continuing education at Middlebury College in Vermont. She has almost 20 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal and has assisted the firm in the preparation of thousands of Living Trusts.  Elaine resides in Boston with her family and continues to work with the firm remotely. She enjoys cooking and interior design in her spare time.
 

 

Arlyn Villanueva, Estate Planning Paralegal
Arlyn has been with Kavesh, Minor & Otis since 1994 and has spent the majority of her time with the firm as an Estate Planning Paralegal, primarily responsible for the drafting and preparation of thousands of estate plans. Since 2007, Arlyn took on additional responsibilities with respect to office management.  Arlyn currently resides with her husband and son in the South Bay. In her spare time, Arlyn enjoys watching her son play club hockey.




 

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Tracy Collins, Client Care Director & Seminar Coordinator
Tracy has been with the firm since June 2008.  She primarily assists the firm in setting up and facilitating its educational seminars, as well as managing all of our client appointments.  She manages and oversees the Client Care Department, which is responsible for managing all of the attorney's calendars and our client's appointment needs.  Tracy grew up and currently resides in the South Bay.  She enjoys cooking and is an avid Anaheim Ducks and Angels fan.

 


Gabby Cruz, Administrative Assistant
Gabby joined the firm in December 2010 and works part-time to assist in the file room, managing the client files and helping prepare our attorneys for their client appointments.  Gabby originally grew up in Mexico and moved to Los Angeles when she was 20 years old.  She recently graduated from cosmetology school and, in her spare time, Gabby enjoys hiking, oil painting and taking care of her daughter. 

 



Megan DeLaGarza, Executive Assistant to Philip J. Kavesh
Megan joined the firm in May 2011 and has taken over much of the administrative duties to Mr. Kavesh, including coordinating his calendar and assisting him with projects. Megan is originally from Maryland, where she grew up and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with her Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Megan moved out to California in December 2010 to marry her high school sweetheart. In her free time, Megan enjoys going to the beach, reading and cheering on the LA Galaxy.

 

ShantaDee Gadson, Estate Administration Administrative Assistant
ShantaDee has been with our firm since April 2008.  She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors degree from California State University, Northridge.  ShantaDee supports all of the attorneys in the Estate Administration Department and also assists in the firm in setting up client appointments.  In her spare time, ShantaDee is actively involved with her church.

 

 

Alexandria Gilner, Client Care Associate
Alexandria joined the firm in February 2011 and her primary responsibility is setting up appointments for our clients.  She also assists the firm in seminar facilitation.  Alexandria is originally from San Diego and moved to the Los Angeles area to receive her Bachelors degree in Journalism and Photojournalism from the California State University at Long Beach.  In her spare time, she enjoys photography, shopping and going to church.

 


Joanna Gomez, File Clerk
Joanna has been with the firm since March 2006. Her primary responsibility is managing the firm's copy room and client files. She also assists our Senior and Junior Paralegals with respect to word processing and trust preparation.  Joanna currently resides with her husband, Alex, in the South Bay and is studying cosmetology in her spare time.  She is very active in her church and enjoys singing.

 

 

Elizabeth Guerrero, Client Care Associate
Elizabeth is the newest member to the firm and joined the firm in January 2012.  Her primary responsibility is setting up appointments for our clients. Elizabeth grew up and currently resides in the South Bay.  In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, paintball shooting with her son and going to the gym.


Julie Martinez, Receptionist
Julie has been with the firm since May 2011.  Her primary responsibility is answering our busy telephone lines and greeting and assisting our clients when they arrive.  She also assists the Word Processing Department with data entry and assists with seminar registration and facilitation.  Julie resides in the Los Angeles area and enjoys spending time with her family.

 

 

Kristina K. Schneider, Website Marketing Coordinator
Kristina has been with the firm since July 2004, shortly after receiving her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.  Kristina initially joined the firm as Mr. Kavesh’s Executive Assistant and helped Mr. Kavesh set up conferences for other estate planning professionals throughout the country.  Kristina assists the firm with our website, blog entries and assisting Mr. Kavesh with our monthly e-mail newsletters.  Kristina grew up and currently resides in the South Bay and enjoys reading, writing and playing club basketball in her spare time.
